Komodo dragon exhibit renamed for Sir David Attenborough

Sir David Attenborough today joined staff at ZSL London Zoo to mark the official renaming of a Komodo dragon enclosure in his honour.

ZSL London Zoo’s Komodo dragon enclosure was renamed ‘The Attenborough Komodo Dragon House’ at an official ceremony in celebration of Sir David Attenborough’s 90th birthday.

Sir David met members of ZSL staff as he toured some of the zoo’s latest enclosures, coming face to face with orb-weaver spiders and Asian lions. Watch the video to hear from the man himself about his links with ZSL London Zoo and Komodo dragons, and how he feels the organisation has changed over the years.
